Uncle Allan was a quite and peaceable man,
well-liked by all who knew him. He was a hard worker, and spent his working
years in the woods. He slipped peacefully and with rejoicing into the presence
of the Lord from his own home in Mason's Cove. He served the Lord for approximately
20 years.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Naomi;
sons, Aubrey (Verna), Sterling (Viola), Gordon (Barbara), John (Cora),
and Varrick; daughters, Bernice Hutchings (Wallace), Greta Phyllis Anstey
(Alvin), Alma Trickett (Donald), and Judy Canning (Raymond); 23 grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Pearl Foss.
Uncle Allan was respected and
loved by the assembly and community. He will be greatly missed by his family
and friends.
