Reginald Milley went into the presenceof the Lord on December 13,1983.
The funeral service was conducted on December 16 from Windsor Pentecostal
Tabernacle by General Superintendent Roy D. King. Former General Superintendent
A.S. Bursey preached the funeral message. The eulogy was given by D.R.
Kearley.
Brother Milley was born in Exploits in 1911
and entered the ministry of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland
in 1938. He pastored the Bay Roberts Assembly in 1938 and
helped pioneer the Roddickton Assembly between 1939-42.
In 1942 he took seriously ill with an incurable
heart disease and was for eight years and five months an invalid. In the
summer of 1950 he was instantly healed and married Aletha Clarke of Campbellton
and re-entered the ministry, serving Hampdwn 1954-57, Roddickton(second
term) 1957-61, Hants Hr. 1961-62, Swift Current 1962- 65 Triton 1965-69.
He has been retired at Windsor since 1969.
He is survived by his wife Aletha; three sons, Garry and wife Christine,
David and wife Donna, Graham and wife Karen; one daughter Elaina; five
grandchildren; four sister, Lucy, Sadie, Georgina, Winnie and four brothers,
Max, Edgar, Jack and Phillip.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to
those who helped by their kind words and prayers during this time of sorrow.
